Dear Reader,
I want to start off by saying that I am just a mere amateur at “blogging.” In fact, this is my first ever blog! I set this account up because it is required for one of my college classes and because I am interested in humor that has, or is happening in sports.
What I will attempt to do in this blog is to analyze the cultural significance of sport humor. I will choose one or more sports incidents that have made the headlines or have caused commotion in the sporting world. I will then write about what the incident tells us about American humor, and/or what such humor reveals about the American culture. Please enjoy.
